接頭辞  syn-

＊接頭辞 syno-  は、ギリシア語の syn  (together,  with) に由来します。

＊融合した、統合した、合一して同じの、の意味で造語されます。

＊synthesis;  synoptic,  synecology,　syngamy　などが挙げられますが、以下にて扱う  synomynous は、syn + nomynous 即ち、同じ意味の言葉が集合した、の意味ですね。
