全く違っている、の表現１

　ここに扱う言葉はすべて、特に極端な意味で、誰かや何かが他の人や周りのものと全く同じではないこと、またその状態にあることを指します。

まぁ、全然違う、対極だ、正反対だ、の表現です。

opposite

＊物理的に正反対の方向にある、対極に位置する、の意味の形容詞、副詞、前置詞、名詞としての用法がありますが、おそらくはそれの比喩的利用として、モノの考え方が対極にある、との意味が派生したのでしょう。

＊特に会話では意味を強調する為にcompletely の語がしばしば添えられます。

＊日常的に頻用される語です。
